Boathouse park is dog-friendly! located along the swatara river, the area is branded as a dog-friendly creek access. the park is unique to all of the other township parks in that it features a boat launch. it offers leashed dogs and their owners fishing, boating, and picnicking opportunities. boathouse park is open daily, from sunrise to sunset.. Beginning saturday, may 30, we are excited to be able to welcome park visitors back to the boathouse, with limited capacity. please check facebook for updates we will be open with limited seating on the patio only, and are encouraging visitors to grab items from our picnic-friendly menu and enjoy their meal around the park..
