boat holding tank cleaner You simply put in a “head-o-matic blue puck” of concentrated head chemical and forget it. it automatically controls the odor in the bowl and with each flush treats the lines to the holding tank and adds just the right amount of chemical to work in the holding tank to keep your boat odor free.. add a new puck every 6 weeks or so and you’re good to go!. Re: cleaning out the holding tank you can...muriatic (hydrochloric) acid has been the accepted de-scaler for marine piping and sanitation systems for decades because it does the job without harm to anything in the system including toilets, and it's also safe to use in a metal tank..
