Re: toilet won't flush sorry forgot to mention that no a marine manual head is almost nothing like a regular tanked toilet. in point of fact if the head is below water line (which it very well likely may be) if you have a bad flapper valve and an open thru hull (raw water intake) you can flood the boat.. If the handle of your toilet’s water tank is rusting, loose, and won’t flush when pulled down, it will need to be replaced. purchase a new one and have it reinstalled and attached to the lift chain. 7. tank problem – low water level. if the toilet won’t flush or flushing is weak, check the tank. the water level may be too low.. Flush the toilet by pressing the flush button. if there is no water flow, ensure the boat's water tank has sufficient water to supply the toilet, by visual inspection of the water tank's level. if the water supply is sufficient and the flow of water is non-existent or sluggish, you should suspect a problem with the pump..
